SSSCU Employees Build Sweet Cases

This past November, Silver State Schools Credit Union (SSSCU) employees came together to create 60 Sweet Cases with necessities and comfort items to provide to children in foster care as they transition from home-to-home. The Sweet Cases were obtained through Together We Rise, a non-profit organization that partners with community organizations to bring resources to children and youth in the foster care system. This December, we delivered the finished bags and toy donation to a local foster care organization, Foster Kinship, to provide aid to children in need this holiday season. 

The People Over Profit (POP) Foundation, powered by Silver State Schools Credit Union, is a Nevada nonprofit charitable 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to equip Southern Nevada students with tools, resources, and access to build a better future by educating, empowering, and enhancing our community for the common good. The Foundation is committed to student development by working in partnership with nonprofit organizations who share our core beliefs. 

Through the POP Foundation, the Credit Union looks forward to making a larger impact in the lives of Nevada's youth.
